Adirondack Martial Arts Center is a complete martial arts school, which focuses on Olympic Style Taekwondo while offering seminars in combat hapkido, kung-fu, and other forms of martial arts. In addition Adirondack Martial Arts Center is committed to helping men, women, and children of all ages and abilities to achieve there fitness goals through the sport / art of Tae Kwon Do.

From the school specialized children’s curriculum developed by Master Yuhasz himself. To our structured classes for varied belt ranks and abilities, professional instruction, award winning staff & facility, Adirondack Martial Arts Center attracts students of every age – from 4 yrs to 64 yrs.

Adirondack Martial Arts Center prides itself on our reputation for providing the Clifton Park / Southern Saratoga County & the Adirondack region with quality instruction for nearly fifteen (15) years. Providing keys to increase the health and lifestyles for busy adult professionals. Adult students gain increased flexibility, self-defense skills and a great overall body workout.

Younger students gain increased focus and confidence through the study of Tae Kwon Do. While training younger students focus on the tenets of Tae Kwon Do, which foster character education through martial arts. From our specialized children’s curriculum, to our Martial Arts Merit Badge system our staff of professional black belts are dedicated to every students true potential. In turn, a confident and respectful child who has the skills that are valued by today’s top colleges and companies.

Adirondack Tae Kwon Do was founded in 1993 by Master Jeffrey V. Attanasio in Clifton Park, New York. Out growing its original location Adirondack moved into a larger space where some of our first students won Gold, Silver & Bronze medals in state, regional & national championships earning a reputation of a true competition school.

Over time Adirondack Tae Kwon Do developed outstanding black belts including a few students who are still training with us and are now approaching 4th degree black belt. As Tae Kwon Do gained increased popularity Adirondack moved to its current location which is over 3500sq. ft. where MARTIAL ARTS PROFESSIONAL recognized our facility as one of the TOP schools in the nation.

Just before Adirondack’s third and final move, a younger Mr. Yuhasz started to train and share his Tae Kwon Do experience with the students and staff of Adirondack Tae Kwon Do / Martial Arts Center. While pursing his degree in Elementary Education, Mr. Yuhasz trained and taught along side Master Attanasio earning his 3rd and trained for his 4th degree black belt. After a few years Mr. Yuhasz earned his bachelors in Elementary Education and acquired Adirondack Martial Arts Center with his wife Mary-Elizabeth. It was then when a new curriculum and staff was introduced and the students of Adirondack Martial Arts Center continued to focus on the sport / Olympic style of Taekwondo, while practicing traditional Tae Kwon Do forms and self-defense techniques. In 2002 Mr. Yuhasz won a GOLD MEDAL in the US OPEN adult men’s division while the students of Adirondack Martial Arts Center continued to take home multiple state and regional medals.

A couple years later Mr. Yuhasz tested for his 4th degree black belt qualifying him as a Master Instructor. While testing Master Yuhasz gained valuable friendships with various Grandmaster’s, Master’s, martial artist and their schools in the Capital District and beyond - networking together to help foster the true spirit of Tae Kwon Do.

Today Adirondack Martial Arts Center hopes to continue our tradition of quality instruction for years to come.
