The World Taekwondo Federation is the International Federation [IF] governing the sport of Taekwondo and is a member of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations [ASOIF]. The WTF recognizes national Taekwondo governing bodies recognized by the NOC in the pertinent country, one in each country, as its members.

USA Taekwondo is the only National Governing Body (NGB) for the sport of Tae Kwon Do in the United States. As the NGB for the sport, the USAT is proud to be a member of the United States Olympic Committee, the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and the Pan American Tae Kwon Do Union (PATU). Adirondack Martial Arts Center is proud to be an official club member of the United States Tae Kwon Do Union. As an official USTA club member our students and their ranks (belts) are recognized nationwide.

Mr. Michael Yuhasz is the President and Master Instructor at Adirondack Martial Arts Center and has over sixteen (16) years of Tae Kwon Do experience. Currently, Mr. Yuhasz is a WTF 4th Degree Black Belt and is training for his fifth (5th) degree. Mr. Yuhasz has competed in many States, regional, national and international tournaments in both sparring and poomse (forms), and has won many awards and championships, including:

Mr. Yuhasz graduated from The College of Saint Rose, Magna cum laude with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in U.S. History. Mr. Yuhasz is one of only a few Tae Kwon Do Master Instructors with a degree in Elementary Education. In addition to his Tae Kwon Do training Mr. Yuhasz is a loving husband & father of two children.

Mr. Matthew Lahoff has been an instructor at Adirondack Martial Arts Center for over six years and instructing for over 9, and has been studying the art of Tae Kwon Do for 16 years earning his 4th degree black belt. Mr. Lahoff is a member of Team TKD our (adult demonstration team) and actively training. Mr. Lahoff's accomplishments in & out of the sport of Tae Kwon Do include:

Mr. Joshua Barber is our headinstructor at Adirondack Martial Arts Center and has over 10 years experience in Tae Kwon Do. Mr. Barber earned his third degree black belt in the fall of 2005 and is in training for his forth degree. Some of Mr. Barber’s accomplishments & goals in Tae Kwon Do include:
